The following is the list of past events organized or attended by Auckland. It should give you a better idea of to what's been happening for the sport of Handball in the Auckland region. And it's probably the best way to tell the story of this sport in the region, so if you know of any events that hasn't been listed here, please do let us know and we will be very happy to add them to the list.

November 2004 - Provincial Cup (Auckland)

Organized by Auckland Handball Association and figuring three teams from Auckland and one team from Wellington, this first Provincial Cup was a huge success on and off the court.

It's also the first tournament with a team from the University of Auckland where the first uni club was set-up a couple of weeks after.

November to December 2004 - Social League (Auckland)

This first event at the Recreation Center was actually a social league that took place over six weeks and which saw four different teams from the University of Auckland City Campus. A great initiative and probably one the funding event of the University of Auckland Handball Club.
